Dwight Howard is the greatest big man in the game today. Dwight Howard is the icon of big man in the NBA right now. He will make you think twice about driving in on the magic. Dwight Howard is the best defense center right now. I mean just look at his awards, he is a two time NBA defensive player of the year(09/10), a two time NBA all defensive first team(09/10), and a member of the NBA defensive second team(08). When Dwight came to the NBA he became the youngest player in NBA history to average a double double. The reason why Dwight picked 12 as his number was because it was the reverse number of his idol Kevin Garnet when he played for the Timberwolves. Along with being a great defensive player Dwight Howard was freakishly ripped which made him difficult to guard. Being 6ft.11in and weighting 265lb mostly muscle it is like King Kong vs. spike lee in the post. But who can forget the dunk contest where Dwight Howard brought out the superman cape to steal the show and win the dunk contest. Dwight Howard is compared to some of the greatest big man in the NBA, and we haven't seen anything yet considering that he is only in early prime.
